I am a Stipendiary Lecturer in Politics at Pembroke College, Oxford and a DPhil (PhD) candidate in International Relations at Nuffield College, Oxford. My research broadly concerns the relationship between international law and international relations.
My current research project is on the role of legal sovereignty within Chinese foreign policy during the Republican Era (1911-1949). I also maintain research interests in political history and public law.
My work is financed by Nuffield College, the University of Oxford, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and the Moore Charitable Foundation.
